Tears can wash clean the heart. Brokeness opens the eyes of the spirit to see what might have been passed by without a second glance. I write my best poetry after pain experiences I've been handed in life. Not that my life is worse than anyone else's, but that I try to learn from hurt and not fight all the elements out there.
Tears are the physical release of extreme sadness, anger, tension or fear. Sometimes, it can be quite therapeutic to release some tears, with an attitude to try harder next time, learn something or avoid something that's not good for you and caused you this pain to begin with.
I've heard it said, " Tears are a language God understands."

Hello Rena, I think so it's like a much needed release of emotions, it can be quite refreshing, I mean I always feel good after a good cry, like everything is ok, at least until the next flood.

I believe. I am not the one to cry easily but there are times when my heart feels so heavy and clouded I need to simply let pour the hot and briny tears and cleanse my spirits. I do it in total privacy and feel much better afterwards. One needs not keep emotions clustered and cluttered just because the world expect us to act mature....

No, but authentic, unexpressed, unshed tears in childhood can severely damage the soul. They have to be dug up and consciously validated by the adult Self to avoid perpetuating the original experience of emotional pain.

Tears like anything else can also become a superficial attachment and inhibit psychological unity - if not dealt with in a reasonable way.

Yes, and it is a necessary cleansing. Otherwise the dust and cobwebs make it look like it is abandoned and no one tends to it. The tears make everything new and clean again.

Yes it does.Try it till you cry no more...though you lids feel heavy, your heart feels light. When you cry you pour your hearts--hurts, out like flushing your "worries" away!so your soul feels like it has just taken a good bath.

When I feel bad,i go to CR for comfort...I let the water run so i can hear it pouring. And it feels like my heart is pouring too.Its like the water is crying with me and feeling the same emotion that i have. The water is my friend and it keeps my secrets safe.
