How come Republicans only care about the troops when there is a camera around?

Kinda like what do you think of Prez's who play guitar, and dance on stage like an idiot with helen degenerate instead of addressing more important issues like national security? One wound up getting a bj in the White House and getting ousted, and letting alqaida slip by. Now we see another one playing the vilage idiot and obviously not taking his campaign seriously, nice representation of what dems true colors really are!

Other than the fact that you have no grasp of the concept that it is standard protocol when flying in a military plane, you need to be dressed appropriately. Next time you post a question, use decent grammar, that way if someone has an actual education, they might understand what you are asking!!!

Plus--what everyone seems to have forgotten--the carrier had beenat see for 6 months. Yet Bush ordered it--and the 6000 people on board--to sit out there for an extra day, delaying their homecoming, disrupting their plans with their families, etc.--so he could pull his photo op stunt.

Safety, even the Congressmen/women who have done the same thing (both parties) were required to wear the safety equipment as well.

a. It looked like he was trying to pose as the heroic President leading his victorious troops.
His supporters fell for it, but it looked foolish, staged, and inappropriate to most.
