I am going over to my girlfriend's house today and she wants to go out and buy a cd. There is no place to get cd's in her town except for a K-Mart but not if they edit cd's there. I think it is digusting how people do that.

do a seaarch on yahoo for CD stores in your area. Ignore any big-box stores (J-Marts, Target, etc.) there should be something near you.
If you live in the Chicago area, especially the near west suburbs, Harlem and Irving Park Road has Rolling Stones Records, a really great CD store that sells unedited CDs.
