I would say she did love Samson because I believe she was forced by the Kings of the 5 Philistine cities to do this. Also it was time after they had been together before the Philistine kings asked her to do this which means either a threat or possibly falling out which shows may be why she betrayed him to them. But this is only speculation .

No, I fear she was acting as an agent for her party and deliberately confusing Samson to gain his secret. Like all gullible males where a glamourous female is about, he was tacken in and duped. The oldest trick in the world.
