Yes, I've actually lost three, step-dad, friend and mother-in-law it has been a hard year for my family, specially my kids.

Yes...my grandmother died four days after Christmas last year. She was 95 and had cancer. It was not a happy Christmas. Or a happy fall last year, come to think of it.
So it's technically not this calendar year, but it was within a year of today.

Two old friends of mine died. One this year and one last. Wasn`t that close with them and hadn`t seen them in a while. They were too young to die and that`s the hard part.

Yes my husband's grandpa died at the begginning of the year. It was sad because he knew it was his time and we thought there might have been a chance for him to get better but he didn't!

Unfortunately, yes. My favorite Uncle passed away in April suddenly of a heart attack. I miss him very much.

no, thankfully not. i lost four loved ones last year, i don't think i could have standed to lose anyone else.
