I use a toothpick because I have braces because it takes to long to floss with braces.

Definitely floss... I find picking one's teeth a disgusting habit, unless it is in the privacy of your bathroom at home. If you are already there you might as well floss instead.

both every day if floss isn't handy I use a tooth pick but not in public I wouldn't floss in public either that's what bathrooms or for
