a friend of mine recently told me my hubby sent her an msn messege telling her what time i go to work and if she wanted to come over for"you know what i mean." when confronted about it he denied saying that to her but he didnt deny talking to her. at this point i beleive her over him just for the simple fact that she came and told me to reassure me she didnt want my husband. is it possible she made it up or is there more to it

Realistically it could go either way...but it sounds like your hubby is trying to get with your friend! its not surprising he denied it, I think alot of people do when they're confronted with something like that. he probably wasn't expecting your friend to go and tell you! I think you better have a serious chat with him and figure what the hell he thinks he's doing! But be careful: if he tried this once he will probably try it again, if he hasn't already.

You stated you don't trust him. So why are you defending a man who would act like this? You already know the answer to this situation. I guarantee if you ask other friends, this is not the first, nor will it be the last time it happens. Unless you enjoy being humiliated and disrespected, find someone else who deserves your love. Most friends don't just tell stuff like that unless it is true because it also puts them in a shady light. Be happy you have such pals...some women would have jumped at the chance to hook up with your hubby and not said a word to you!

If you've known this friend for a long time and you trust her, then i would believe in her. Telling a friend that her husband is coming onto her is one of the hardest things.
My friends husband made moves on me and asked me to "lie on the bed to cuddle". I did not of course, but i also did not tell my friend about it either since she is so in love with him. I thought it would hurt her more. I just avoided her husband and made sure when we were in the same places together, it was never just the two of us.
I would look at other issues in your relationship and find out why he's wanting to stray. I would worry that if he doesn't get your friend, he will find someone else on the side.

Wow. So you believe another female friend over your own husband? What if he's telling the truth? You more or less just made it very clear that you trust your friends more than you trust your husband. He must feel like the luckiest guy in the world right now (not).

FYI: Next time I would ask your friend to print out the message as proof. And before you accuse your husband of being stupid enough to hit on your friends, you might want some more evidence than "she said". Also, don't be too surprised when your husband doesn't want her coming over anymore. I wouldn't want one of my wife's friends coming over anymore if she lied about me hitting on her.

Then why do you believe him over her? See if she will set him up. Let him know you will be busy doing whatever for a couple hours or overnight or whatever, and show back up. If she is being honest with you, she will be willing to do this.

I would tend to belive her in this case too. Maybe he has hit on her in the past and this was the last straw. I would be concerned with who else he has been seeing in the past. Time to play detective, good luck

if you caught him with another girl before, then its probably true that he sent the message. find some one better in your life that will not cheat on you.

Your husband is a pig. Seriously. I would hook up with his best friend. Teach him a lesson.

Anything is possible, but based on what you've said I'd look a little deeper.

i would believe your friend. she has no reason to lie to you. however, he does. not only that, but you caught him with one of your friends already. i would get some counseling and get to the bottom of his behaviors.
