NO, Arod is a jerk, cares only about the money, and not the team, and proved that by opting out before the world series ended, when he could've waited 10 days for the yanks to make him an offer. Yanks best bet is to get young Miguel Cabrera, if the Marlins don't ask for too much in return.

A-rod needs to take all his money, buy his own island with a mirror on it so he can look at himself all day. I am so happy he opted out and I loooooove the Yanks. No one person is worth 30+ million a year, especially when they cant hit the low and away pitch. Hey, Soriano couldnt hit that pitch either and now he's a superstar on the Cubs "funny he did nothing and they went no where this post season also". He is so great yet he is in his early thirties and about to go to his fourth team. If he is so great, WHY DONT ANY TEAMS KEEP HIM. The Yanks have taken the position they will not pursue him if he opts out and he didn't even sit with them before he made a decision. Shows you how "dedicated" he really is. He is the greatest and worst player you will ever watch... Good luck to whomever gets him. A-rod if you reading this, enjoy your money, but remember when you are sitting their as an old man, and playing baseball is a distant memory, you can stare at that ringless finger and try to imagine the glory of charging the mound during a world series victory. That is something your money and Boras will never give you...
Lowell is a great player who knows his role. If their is an opportunity for him, sure why not. But lets try to see whats is in the farm and try to get someone who wants to be there. Scott Brosius wasnt great, but for some reason I remember celebrating and screaming his name more than arods, especially in the post season.

Not sure there's anyone who could replace the production but to help the team win, I'de like to see them go after Miguel Carbera from Florida or bring up a prospect. If I'm Mike Lowell I don't want to go to NY. And I'm a Yankee fan. But A-Rod most likely will not be back, at least I hope they do not pay him the insane amount of money he will demand, and go after some form of SP you know, because that was basically why the Yankees played ok during the season and not quite good enough in the post-season.

Have Yankee fans ever really embraced him? I know you guys were cheering for him this year but for the most part he has ever been accepted.

Now onto Mike Lowell, I hope the Sox keep him but I think the Yankees would be stupid to not try and pursue him to bring him back to the team that he came up with.

They didn't embrace him the last 4 years, why would they do it now.

Plus Yankee management would look real bad when they do things in the media and then back out.

at the start there is not any reason to attack somebody because of the fact they left one letter off their question. each and every now and then once you're typing straight away it occurs. human beings like this could be flagged sufficient to get their profile checked and probably blackballed. To me I unquestionably have misplaced varied understand for Alex Rodriguez as a participant yet have won understand for him as a guy or woman. no longer in straightforward terms did he guy up and admit to what he did. He additionally admitted to doing it from 2001 by way of 2003. He additionally did no longer "rat" out his friends like another gamers from those days have with books so the followers can discover out the actuality, whilst in actuality they wrote those books because of the fact they owed the IRS hundreds of thousands of dollars. As for those compelled to throw Barry Bonds interior the mixture. i do no longer see his call interior the question yet enable me handle this. i in my view by no ability loved Barry Bonds long in the past he cheated. Barry Bonds mentioned "I took the clean and the cream yet did no longer be attentive to it grew to become right into a steroid" and then he mentioned "I by no ability took steroids" that kind of confuses me because of the fact he admits it then denies it. Alex Rodriguez took all of roughly 10 seconds to confess he did something incorrect as quickly as all of us be attentive to the union could have made it disappear like they are going to the remainder 103 names.
