Just the female of the species !

There's a Haynes manual on mens health which is about half inch thick.

Haynes can't produce one for women because it would run to too many volumes, be out-of-date by the following month and totally contradict itself all the way through. And then depending on the time of the month, some parts may become relevant again, and then out-of-date the following week.

Thank goodness we're not all one-dimensional people, but each and every one a unique creation of nature. Otherwise we'd be very easy to understand, but in that case there'd be so very little TO understand.
We spend most of our lives trying to understand ourselves; it's far too much to demand of ourselves that we fully understand everyone else. Sometimes you have to take things, and people, as they appear and not try so hard to judge either of them. Sometimes that can leave you vulnerable, but as often, it results in a mutually-beneficial relationship, whether in the world of business or on a much more personal level.
Go with your gut. If, after a few moments, another person appears less than an ideal friend or partner, your feelings are usually quite correct. If it turns out you've misjudged this person, there are plenty of others to choose from. Life is too short to spend it trying to decipher everyone. And one can only accomodate a very limited number of true friends.

the key to understanding others is understanding yourself first - you'll start to see what is true for you is True. i think we have more in common with one another than we have differences but we all start from different places and have reasons why we believe things that are obviously untrue to others - this 'crap' gets in the way when we look at others (the freud dude calls that projection or transference).

I's hard to understand something that you don't really know. But try to go through it than you will find that it's not too difficult to understand.
