well i guess...id trust the words of a legend player...especially when he was a defender...and i kinda feel england did lack spirit and passion as they once did...once they started to struggle...all the players just wanted to carry the load and score...not play team ball...a few games...it showed teamwork...but considering the talent england has on their roster, they shouldnt have trouble beating anybody...i think its time to stop for them to use excuses on injury and just admit that they havent played at their best level these past years.

I have to disagree with that view. The English team always plays with spirit it's just that sometimes it doesn't equate to on the field success unfortunately.
