Here's my example - when I was growing up my Mom would always bring me and my brother over to her best friend's house and we would go trick-or-treating with her kids, who we were friends with. My Mom and her friend would stay back to give out candy to the kids there, and her friend would always have Kenny Rogers playing. So when Halloween comes around, I do think of "Monster Mash", but I also think of "Lady". (Yikes...THAT'S scary!)
How about you? Are there any non-holiday songs that make you think of certain holidays?

Jakex & rukrym - I agree with both of you about certain songs having a seasonal feel to them. There are definitely things in my collection that are more summer, and things that are more winter.

Master C - I know exactly what you mean about the Twilight Zone! The James Bond theme sometimes conjures up images of Christmas because of the one station that plays the marathon of 007 movies then.

Any song by Harry Chapin reminds me of Christmas. My family would pile into the car to get our Christmas tree and sing along with Harry on our way through the beautiful pacific northwest wilderness. :)

One song that seems to scream "Independence Day" is Suite Madame Blue by Styx.
Funeral for a Friend by Elton John sounds like Halloween at the beginning of the song.
As far as artists, It doesn't matter that Johnny Mathis had numerous hits in the 50's. My parents played his Christmas albums over and over. Johnny Mathis is synonymous with Christmas.

Halloween is a Misfits holiday! Always will be.
I also seem to associate New Years and Independence Day with the Twilight Zone theme song. Mainly because of the 2-3 day marathons the Sci-fi channel plays every year.

I always think of Christmas whenever I listen to Jeff Buckley's version of "Lilac Wine", mostly because I was given Grace as a Christmas present a good few years ago (one of the few Christmas presents I can remember), and listened to the album non-stop for about a week. For some reason, I associate this song most strongly with Christmas, although the whole album has a kind of wintery feel to me.

That song Inna-gadda-davida always reminds me of Halloween...
Also, Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is by Chicago reminds me of Christmas, there's a long high school band story behind this one..The high points being a drunken Santa and this song.

This is going to sound kind of nutty, but for me, Warrant = Easter.
Let me try to explain.
My senior year in college, there were about five of us around the Fraternity house over Easter weekend. For whatever reason, one of the guys had gotten it into his head that Warrant was the greatest band ever (keep in mind, this is 1997). So, we spent the entire weekend sitting in the backyard in a kiddie pool, drinking beer, and grilling steaks while listening to Jani Lane sing about cherry pies and down boys.
It was the best Easter ever.

I think of Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon, Bark At The Moon by Ozzy Osbourne and Dragula by Rob Zombie for Halloween.
For Christmas it is Country Western since, I always go around to my Nana and Koro's for Christmas and my Koro ( Grandfather ) always plays his Country Western.
When it's Easter I always think of the film Easter Parade and the music from that film.

Of course The Gambler is perfect to rock out to for any given holiday throughout the year.
This is probably somewhat borderline but Rob Zombie is the living embodiment of Halloween.
Also, anything by NIN reminds me of Easter. Maybe because a lot of his album releases happen around April.
