Our child support order was done 7yrs ago he wasn't making much, now he has his company and i dont know where to get information to take to child support office since he never reported the drastic change of income. The attorney generals office isn't much help and pretty much as long as he sends his $200 a month they're satisfied.

I can't afford an attorney so i figure i can take them proof of his company maybe they would try a little harder to persue it.

It should be reviewed each year and any other time there are changes, like changing jobs. You can have him submit his W-2 for proof of income, or see about a lawyer getting his monthly statements to show income. That is kind of up to you. I would just hope he would man up and step up to take care of his kids if he was making more money. I know $200 a month must be hard on you. You can bug the office and see if they will look into it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

You could ask the court to subpoena his tax records.
Have you tried to locate the business? Check local newspapers, the Better Business Bureau, phone book, etc. If he has a business, he must be advertising somewhere. You'll have a much better chance if you can document the business. Although it may be hard to prove he owns it.

Tax forms never lie. You can petition the court by saying he is trying to hide or disguise his income. They can subpoena his tax papers and make him pay current and PAST DUE child support.

Go get him!

Go on the state website where you register your trade name. Then follow the paper trail. Good Luck

hmmm... request a modification... they have to do a modification every 3 to 4 years if you ask... and they will request his tax information... if he does not provide it, they will get it from the IRS themselves... if he has not filed taxes, he will end up in jail for doing so, lol! good luck! =)
