He works as a system administrator, recently he bought a new dishwasher to wash the dishes but i think its a big waste of money cause i think he should just learn how to do them faster. he also at the end of the day works on his photographs since he is a photographer but often times he leaves the ironing for the next day, how do i get him to do all of his housework?

So let me get this straight - are you asking for your husband to be the housewife and work? I'm confused. Did you not know what he did before you married him?

Seriously is this a joke? First of all if he works then you should be doing the housework. If you both work then you should SHARE the housework in the evenings when u get off work. I'm suprised he hasn't kicked u to the curb yet you outta feel like a very lucky woman that he hasn't. You should start helping, it would get done faster and he would haev some help around the house.

anita, not all men are like that. My husband gives me a choice work or home. I choose to stay home and take care of the kids and do the housework. And even after working all day in the military he still comes home and helps me with the kids and helps with the housework. I think marriage should be a partnership. Not all men and woman think like u say they do.

I love your ironic question!!!
Yes my dear, this is exactly what husband do expect from their wives: Work and bring money home and do all the housework meanwhile they are just relaxing in front of the TV or going out with some friends...
It’s amazing that people think it’s a strange question just because the roles are swapped.
When a man asks this question about his wife everybody would take it serious and accept it as a normal situation somehow...
Unfortunately it seems to be normal in this society to see women working like donkeys in and outside their home and raising one child after the other – meanwhile husbands just complain about everything, take everything for granted and never give a helping hand…
Don’t you see how hypocrite the whole society really is???

Ok, I find this confusing. You say he won't work, but he does have a job and he is doing dishes and cleaning up in the house and you also expect him to iron? Then you say he goes to work at 5 am and works until 10 pm or did you mean 10 am, because then he works 17 hours a day with his job. Then you tell us he's a photographer. I think I'm missing something here, sounds to me like he works and all you said about yourself is that you go out with friends at 12pm till 2am, hello, that means from noon till 2 in the morning. Or did you mean 2 pm, then that's just two hours. You only told us you go out with friends and you didn't say if you work or not, but he is doing the house work while your out with friends. I think I'm really lost here. Sorry, can't help you. If all of this is how I'm reading it, your the one who is not working and he should kick you to the curb.

Well, if he is lazy and doesn't do anything, then I guess I'm the same! LOL I work, take care of the kids and do the house work. I also run all the errands... So I'll tell you like any other spouse that doesn't help... Get off your rear and pitch in. If you don't work, you should be cleaning the house, if you both work, then you both should clean the house... Stop being lazy!

To me it sounds like that he is doing all the work and you are watching. You are not saying that you are working at all from what time to what time. It sounds to me that you are also staying home. What do you do all day? Why must he do also the house work?
What is your excuse?

Wow, you put a ring on a man's hand and he becomes fat and sassy and lazy! I think you better get off the computer and go wash those dishes.
