I bake with unsalted butter. (I never use salted butter. Salt is used for flavor and to control leavening. Salted butter won't give the best flavor and leavening results.)

Salted butter for putting on breads, popcorn or veggies (i.e. seasoning).
Unsalted butter for baking and cooking.
