Add a firewire card... You didn't say if you have a laptop or desktop...

Purchase and install a Firewire card in one of the open PCI slots on your motherboard.

the cheepist way is to get a crossove cable that has firewire on one side and usb on the other cost $8-10

You can buy a Fire wire card from Circuit City for about thirty bucks. They are not hard to install.
