It sounds more like you had food poisoning, I have had the flu and the bad type A ones. No extreme cramps but stabbing pains in all the soft spots, as on the inside of your arms and your thighs inside and fever and cough and yes the quick step but not the severe stomach cramps. I had to call an ambulance several times in one night when I was at a motel for people that had eaten at a local sandwich spot and were poisoned. They were given antibiotics and kept overnight with an IV drip to replace fluids. Maybe you should go see a doctor and make sure the 'bug' is gone. Get well please.

Sounds like early labor to me! I would suggest walking around. I prefer to walk the stairs (carefully) to help get things moving. Or I make my husband take me shopping... If your not feeling the contractions coming and going it could just be indigestion... I actually went to the hospital with my son because I had really bad stomach pain for 10 hours and thought I was in labor... LOL, the lady went to do an ultrasound and I burped really hard and felt immediately better. I ended up having him 3 days later though.

It could have been food posioning as mentioned, sometimes it doesn't happen right away. I've had it before and that sounds a lot like it, I had vomiting also. I haven't had the flu yet, but I have a lot of sinus problems. I hope you're feeling better now.

I have only been sick once this year and not long ago I go my flu shot. I ahve to agree with the others it sounds like food poision or virus. Either way take good care of yourself and take lots of liquids.

It could be food poisoning or a tummy bug. I hope you feel better soon, I know it is a miserable feeling.
I bragged way to much about never getting sick last year, well lo and behold, I was sick as a dog for 2 weeks, even my hair hurt
Feel better!

Not flu but a severe cold which escalated into bacterial brochitis...try almost TWO MONTHS of being sick as a mongrel dog! FINALLY 3/4 on the mend now and on antibiotics...wouldn't have wished that malady on my very worst enemy!
Even my kitty took up nightly vigil atop my hip....lol
