Video of people not caring or BEING REALLY HAPPY about it here:
http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=2754248
Over two days of taping, "Primetime" watched 163 people just walk right by the actors – the abusive woman and her boyfriend. Of all those who had the chance to step up and get involved, only one group of women stopped.
The reaction of another woman, Lynda, was stunning. As our actress continued to heap abuse on her make-believe boyfriend, she walked by the scene and pumped her fist in a show of sisterly solidarity.
"Good for you. You Go, Girl!" is how Lynda recalls her reaction.
"I was thinking he probably did something really bad," she said. "Maybe she caught him cheating or something like that…and [it] made her lose it and slap him in the face. I reacted like, 'Yes. Woman power.'"

Here's the sad truth: society pampers women, treats them as infants who need to be protected. Men are to blame. As a result, I can't imagine a woman ever coming to a man's rescue in these situations. They are also into this female solidarity sh*t, and anything that has a set of balls is evil and deserves what he gets. The fact is women are just as evil as men, without the sex drive.. The idiot who seemed to enjoy it is, sadly, a typical reaction of a man hater. I wish ABC had turned the tables on this "person" and pretended to have the man beat the woman actress to a pulp.

Gender has always leaned towards the male being the abusive one. That's no necessarily so. I guess its because the man is suppose the be the one with the big muscles and they hurt women. Ive seen many males get slapped and kicked by a female. Regardless of what gender you are abuse is abuse. When there is an CDV going on usually the man is charged. People need to respect each other and if you don't like a situation walk away. There's no need for violence.

Primetime also did a scenario with bullies threatening a kid and. Few people bothered to step in and help.
Another scene had the man yelling at the woman and, again, few people stopped to help. Many stared, most looked away. It's called Diffusion of Responsibility. No one wants to get involved in someone else's mess.

The answer is staring everyone in the face: men are suffering from extreme sexism. Do this with a male beating a female and I'm positive that it would be more like 159 out of 163 would get involved, and probably call the cops.

If a man found out his wife or girl Friend was cheating and done that he would be arrested, but if a woman dose it , it means its OK and she must have had a good reason, that's the way the law See's it most of the time. The male will be more than likely be the one going to jail.If he tries to fight a female off or defend him self and people see him put his hands on the female they will come to her aid not his Just like your actions the man was guilty and you had no reason to think any difference

I would never interfere in two strangers having a fight. That would be incredibly dangerous, don't you think? If a child was being attacked, (or if it looked as though someone was really being hurt) I would certainly notify the police or try to find a local security guard to help, but why would I put myself in harm's way?
Would I cheer? No. But would I "walk right by"? Yes. I grew up in Chicago, and I want to live, thank you.

It's a pendulum thing. Human beings tend to swing too far to the right or the left.
Some feminists have swumg too far, and man bashing is socially acceptable now. Unfortunately. .
Some women think men deserve it because of the history of how men have treated women. Which is ridiculous..
Feminism is supposed to make life better for all of us. Men and women both. We will all be happier and live better when we all have opportunities and choices.
To 'punish' men because of history is to cut our nose off to spite our face. When we put men down or allow 'man bashing', we're hurting ourselves, and our children.

I totally agree with l3utman. If a woman is dressing down a man, the immediate perception is the man did something wrong. Why is that? I pride myself on being able to see both sides of the story most times but, I am pretty sure I would think the same way.

In my experience, women often think men they don't know are selfish and evil; men figure that men can take care of themselves and don't need help. Lynda is a man-hater.
Men need to wake up are realize we are in a gender war here. We are losing because we don't even know it.

Coward. A man who physically abuses his woman, is a person who he, himself has been abused as a child. He reproduces the model of the "Man" he has experienced and is coward enough not to fight it and cure it.
