Im assuming your question is for some type of research either as a student or someone within the travel industry.
As I love to visit Vegas (From the UK) and took Tourism as part of my business management degree, I will buy into this and take it at face value and be as constructive as I can from my own experiences.
This is based on standard room rather than a suite.
1) More clothes hangers in the wardrobe.
2) 2 large towels per person as standard without having to call house keeping. Vegas is hot and I like to shower morning and then evening.
3) All rooms should have a free safety deposit box
4) Let people make calls home direct for the room without the charges being too high. People will pay to use the phone in the room, but do not want to be stung, especially for international calls.
5) I admit it... Im a man who can not iron. When im away many places offer a washing service, but ironing would be helpful too.
6) Im always a fan if the room provides a bath robe too. They are too bulky to pack, but great to lounge around in while your better half is making herself beautiful for an hour plus.
7) Wouldn't it be great if your empty case could be put into a storage location rather than having it cluttering up the room. Especially if staying for 1x week or longer.
8) Bath rooms should always have a hair dryer and a seperate magnified shaving mirror.
9) Not a mini bar that charges the earth for drinks, but an empty mini fridge to put a few cans of pop (soda) or a bottle of water or two would be a bonus.
10) A small welcome gift like some fruit, chocolate or a bottle of wine is always a nice start.
Hope this helps!

10 or 20? that's a lot! here's a few from me.
1 - Keep the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and refuse maid service. The room will feel more "lived in".
2 - coffee maker
3 - bring your own music
4 - close the curtains and watch your favorite TV show
5 - if married but travelling alone, take some of your wife/husband's cologne and spray it before bedtime
6 - Take your Teddy Bear!

Do yourself a favor and catch a cab to a restaurant called Nora's Italian Cuisine on West Flamingo. It's for natives and worth the effort.

You are on vacation and should not want to deal with the homelife. Get room service. Enjoy .... take a plung in the hot tub. Get a massage. That is what is great about travel. Not the home life.

hotels in LV don't have coffee makers. Supply a coffee maker, coffee and cups.
A platter of fresh fruit, chocolates and nuts.
Fresh flowers.
Boutique body soaps and lotions in the bathroom.
Coffee table books.
Just think about what you would enjoy.
