I think that may be along the lines of stereotyping.
Im black and Im not a good cook. I cant cook any west indian dishes that my nan and mum can. I cant even be bothered to try and learn. Im more of a pasta dish person. Its easier. I feel making traditional west indian dishes is very time consuming and long winded and as a single mum who works full time, I dont have the passion for it to be honest.
So not all black people can cook, as not all can dance really great or run fast!

RACE has nothing at all to do with food preparation ability - and no matter WHAT, there will be those who really enjoy what is served, and those who cannot stomach it.
Meaning it is all a matter of TASTE as to who cooks "really good".

I don't know what you're talking about. My mother is black and let me tell you, she is a TERRIBLE cook. My sister made better meals than she did.
