Hello
Occasionally my girlfriend sends me saucy pictures on my phone. But yesterday I checked my phone and all pictures of questionable content were marked with small x's and also dissapeared from their txt's theywere sent in. I lost the ability to send pix messages for about twelve hours and also my battery had mysteriously "drained" for no reason earlier that day. I checked verizons terms of use and theyre against indecend material. But honestly can and would they do that ? I mean other pictures inbetween the questionable ones were left untouched. I feel so paranoid and pissed of right now that verizon would go through my messages and delete things they find dont go with policy. Can I take any legal action ?

I can easily understand your shock, annoyance, and frustration (maybe embarrassment?). I tend to agree with you (as long as none of the material is illegal, i. e. child stuff, etc.); seems that "as long as it's between consenting adults . . . " as the saying goes. Still, I think you maybe have already found your answer: the terms and conditions are "against indecent material" as you say. Maybe switch carriers or switch communication method. Legal action is so tedious. Good luck.

providers are currently hoping that telecom leglislation will grant them immunity from lawsuit because they illegally gave personal info to the govt. so even if it illegal for tyhem to do it they do it anyway, and they will soon be immune so there is nothing you can do about it. furthermore, comcast internet service hacks into your system and cuts you off any peer to peer programs without your knowledge or consent (thery just admitted this about 2 weeks ago).

I guess if it's in their policy, anything they say goes.... have you called them and actually spoke to them about it? I think that's stupid though.... I would call them and talk to them and see what they have to say....
