If the Yankees are true to there word, and do not go after A-Rod this off season, he will sign with another team. Assuming that he puts up the numbers he usually does, he will be the starting third baseman on for either the NL or the AL all star team next year. For those of you that do not know, the All Star game will be at Yankee Stadium.. What do you think, boos or cheers from the fans in the stands when he gets introduced?

I know the answer to this question and I can tell you, without any doubt in my mind, that there will be some of both.

A-Rod will be boooed right out of DA Bronx and onto his shrinks couch pissing and moaning!!! Figure he is not only going to get booed at the all star game but if he stays in the AL he will get booed in Seattle Texas and now NY....He stands a better chance in the NL interleague play he may aviod at least one of the ballparks...He is gonna end up in a mental hospital with a damaged ego!!!

If fans bood him when he was on their team, even though he hit 35-45 home runs and drove in 120, I simply don't see them cheering him when he comes back.

Pattyboy, I think you overestimate the effect of fans on players.
If they were really moved by fans, they couldn't possibly look at the crowd knowing they spent $300 of their $40k a year to be there while Rodriguez just made $125,000 for showing up at the game.

A-Rod, despite all the criticism, is THE best player on the planet and I think it is the A-Rod haters who need mental help as they try to justify their hatred. Either they are naive, jealous, or just plain stupid!

He will get cheered when he is announced then booed after hitting a homerun

A-Rod is not classy and a chicken so he'll probably fake an injury and not show up for the All-Star game.

He won't get either. But Derek Jeter will give him a hug because of their gay life together.
