I hope it never happens again to another child anywhere in the world, but if it did and they were a working class family, will all the McFanns all donate money to a fund if one was set up, and would you mind if it was a working class chav and they started to pay their mortgage with the money?

How would you differentiate between them and the McCanns?

The McCanns have, to use an old term, queer'd the pitch for everybody else.

Nope, not at all. That money is used to do whatever is necessary to find Madeleine. If it means taking care of household expenses while they meet with investigators or whatever, it's fine by me.

I suppose you also think that they should not be allowed to go back to their careers as Doctors. So which way is your mind going today?

A doctor can cure that spinning, you know.

Nope.
And if it doesn't bother the people who donated the money, who new what it could be used for as it's clear in the T&C,then why would it bother me?
It just shows there are a hell of a lot of NICE people out there who will help 2 suffering parents.Very kind, don't you agree?

Someone has to pay the mortgage. People here were outraged that Gerry could possibly be allowed to work - what do you want him to do? Busk?

Making a mortgage payment = murder. Yeah, that makes sense to me. You should head the investigation.
