I need to modify the amount of memory that the video card gets, the memory's speed, the processors stepping, etc, etc.....

If you mean the BIOS Master Password, call HP tech support.
If not. please re-post with more details, like what "hidden settings" you are looking for. Then, maybe we can help.

On initiate keep tapping both F1, F2, F10,(word that some manufacturers use F10 for equipment fix!) Esc, or Del, to enter the BIOS set-up. seem for "rigidity configuration", "Boot order" or similar and make the CD/DVD rigidity the first boot gadget. keep settings and go out. © arou42
