Love at first is like butterflies all over you. You think about them day and night, the thought alone gives you a tickle in from your tummy to your toes. A while later love is a very comforting thing, there is trust and companionship, you become one, you can almost always finish each others sentences. Later love becomes a job, not a hard one but one that must be worked at, when you have children or work or other things keeping you apart you need to remember to do all the things you did in the beginning. Little love notes a flower now and then, she should remember to tell you how happy she is that you work so hard to take care of her and the family. Each time you walk through the door you should always kiss for a good two minutes never let the passion leave your marriage. Make her your number one and she will always keep you hers. There is no place for jealousy in a marriage, it will kill it every time. My husband and I can go anywhere and he can be talking to the most beautiful woman in the place but his eyes are on me and I know what he is thinking. He is thinking he can't wait to get out of there and get me home alone, same thing I am thinking. I have had lots of my old aquantince try to steal my man they can try, but it won't happen and men come on to me too, but we made a point a long time ago. Our hearts are one. If it is not better than what you got at home don't mess with it. And you will never know if it is better because we promised NOT to mess with it. That way, we trust and we are still together.

I don't know if its as much a feeling as it is just "being"! When you first love someone, it is more like lust, than love..you want to be with them all the time, your heart beats fast when your with them, in other words you can't get enough of them. As time goes on and you begin to love this person you realize that they have their own needs that you WANT to fulfill, they want their own alone time or time with their friends and that is OK.....You start caring about them and not just in a sexual way. It is very easy to confuse lust & love....I think that is why too many marages fail these days, people fall out of LUST with each other. Love is a very hard emotion to explain....it is different for everyone else! I have loved thesame man for 27 years and I can tell you it is like a fine wine...it gets better with time.....
