Why are you surprised. Like they say, a woman should be lopved not understoo. Stop trying to figure out what she wants and go with her. What's going with her going to do to you other than make u closer?
Please feel good that she is proud to be associated with you. She loves u.
I have done that before. Not that I particularly liked it but it was what she wanted. Heck, if I didn't go, I knew I'd have hurt her deeply and she could have repayed me in all sorts of ways.

Oooh... you should really try it. When I first asked my husband to go he reacted the same way but he went..... not he truly enjoys it. It is very relaxing, and great for your skin and nails.... and heck maybe if you go she will thank you when you get home when you are all fresh and cleaned up!

I think it is great you are even considering it. I would love for my husband to go with me to the spa. He doesn't think it is very manly but I asked my masseuse once and she said 40% of their clients are men. I say go for it, it will make her happy.

if not, i think she just wants the two of you to feel pampered etc. because that's how girls feel when going to the salon...
you know, you can try the spa.. try to suggest those relaxing massage centers etc...

...Nowadays....males also wants to look / feel great by visiting beauty parlour meant for GENTS....there are lots of gents beauty parlours in the cities and even in towns in India...then think about in a foreign country.....those ladies whoever answered NO to you probably they are not aware of these parlours existence for gents....please clear your doubt by visiting these parlours with your partner....or surf in the net for more information's.,
and about your doubt...she may want you to look great on her birthday party...that's all....hope you agree with her...
