Depends where you are. Most hotels have a broadband socket in the hotel room. Alternatively you could visit a cafe that has their own wi-fi. As a last resort contact your mobile phone company and see if you can get your mobile phone hooked up to the internet via your bluetooth connection.

If your Laptop is wireless ready in other words has a Wireless Card Installed. There are HOT SPOTS all over the world that will allow you to connect without the use of a Phone.
All Computers that are wireless detect any service that is in range and you can connect to.
There are a couple of things you might want to remember.
Not all Hot Spots or wireless networks are free, some are set up for customer use only and you must set up accounts or get a username and password to connect.
Others just require the wireless networks password to connect. Then others require nothing, just connect.
It is pretty straight forward. If you are not familiar with how it works, Ask someone you know how it works, ther are several different options and we do not have enough time or room here to explain them all.
