Sir Richard Francis Burton ( Not the Actor ),
One of the most interesting Victorian characters that ever lived.
Explorer, poet, writer, translator, soldier, pornographer, Master Sufi, precursor to modern cultural anthropology, master swordsman ( reputed to have fought more hand to hand duels
than any man that ever lived ).
First Westerner to visit Timbuktu, and the third to Mekka
( Disguised as a Pathan Muslim to avoid the instant death penalty )..
Co discoverer of one of the Major African lakes, and the first
to navigate the Zambezi river.
He was eventually knighted but had such a bad reputation
( He kept provoking his fellow Victorians ) that many people
in high society on purpose left rather than be seen with Burton
even in the same room......What a Man!...What a Life!

I would have to say my husband because he saved me from feeling worthless. When I first met him, I was a mess from a previous relationship. That person made me believe that I would never find true love. He made me feel like I wasn't worth anything. My husband changed all that. I now have lots of confidence and am happy for the first time in my life.

UK's first PM Robert Walpole, for doing nothing and improving the economy by staying out of wars. A very forward thinking individual.

Parents, always been there for me, never been judge mental. They are very religious people and I respect them so much. However, I can tell them ANYTHING and they support me as their daughter. I'm 38 years old, had a hard time with drugs, when younger. They never lectured or made me feel bad, just helped me through it. Don't think I would be alive today without their help!!!
