Since the period of marriage between them is hardly one month, the question of divorce even by mutual consent doesn't arise as the minimum period for dissolution of marriage by divorce has to be one year unless the High Court so decide that the case is one of exceptional hardship to the petitioner or of exceptional depravity on the part of the respondent, & allows leave to present such petition for divorce before one years elapsed from the date of such marriage, this leave petition itself takes eight to ten months to decide & the divorce granted to the parties if they both are jointly agreeable for it. The other way out for him is to move the family court for Restitution of Conjugal Rights & get a decree regarding this against his wife. In case the wife doesn't resume the conjugal relationship with him within one year from the date of decree regarding this then him can move a petition for divorce on this ground itself. In all this legal process may take any thing from three to four years. These are the legal options with him other then his personal request to her to come back to him.

its hard to comment on so little information...but it appears that the wife is the only one that knows why she left and until she shares that information with her husband, he has no way of knowing how to fix the problem. The key is in getting her to open up with someone...maybe her parents. If she wants out of the marriage. there is no sense in putting pressure on her, but she at least owes everyone an explanation for her actions. My guess is she didn't truly love him him to begin with (the reason for no intercourse possibly) and then fell into panic mode once she got married.

In India its not a easy thing to divorce....give that girl more time to think without involving other relative...Don't force her for any thing if ur friend is a nice person.Try to meet her friendly out side of his house and try to find out the reason and then act accordingly.

He should let her go.. who knows why this girl is acting like that was she force to marry him? maybe she being trough something that have traumatized her maybe she was molested or something when she was a child.. it could be many reasons but for now he should have the marriage annulled if the marriage was not consummated then is not valid. He should start over and get on with his life. her family would take care of her. good luck to him.

He should ask her and try to find out why she is annoyed. Their has to be some reason for the annoyance. Consult the girl's parents and try to find the cause. Unless you find the cause of the problem you can't have a solution. Take help of the middlemen who arranged the marriage. I am sure you will find the right solution.

may be she had an affair before and was forced for this marriage.. tell him to go to his family: talk to her privately and ask her the reason., maybe some1 from your family hurt her /or said soemthing against you check things fom both sides before you talk to her. no hasty decisions and tell him to be cool and act like a matured man/ if that doesnt help tell him to talk to her parents and ask the reason and if he has a feeling that it wont work:: divorce ( without any compensation whatsoever)

Leave her alone, that is what he should do. You can not force someone to love you.
