I have never forced my beliefs on anyone, not ever...
You see I don't have to, I am not the one with all the hang-ups...
The is an old adage ~Empty vessels, make the most noise~
Blessed Be... )O(

Yes, obviously, you are more likely to believe in the religion you were brought up to believe. What I find interesting is the similarities in some of the major religions, even though they developed worlds apart.
Burn people that don't believe ? Not very Christian, is it ?

In past history religion was spread by means of force. Mexico and South America were conquered by spain, and forced to convert to catholicism. Other Religions have also been spread this way. A good religion would inspire and persuade, it would not need to use force to get converts, or people to accept maybe a few of their better ideas.

No. But I may press the issue that the different systems we believe in have a common denominator. That is religion per se or the personal and harmonious relationship with God.

No, I wouldn't. I think the world would be a pretty boring place if we all thought exactly the same. We think like we do though because we believe that we are right (or else we wouldn't think that way) so it only makes sense that we wish others could see things the "right" way.

Hello??? NO ONE can FORCE their will on you unless they were, perhaps to do some sort of intensive brainwashing as do the cults. They do this by separating you from all "normal" surroundings, and integrating you into their little secret "world" and indoctrinating you over and over again with NOTHING but what they want you to hear, usually not allowing you to have contact with the outside world until their task is complete.....does this sound like what your brother is doing?

I consider lots of what you pronounced. the project is youthful minds are rather undemanding to manage to what you like them to be. I raised mine with the skill to apply their very own ideas to compliment the path they desire to stroll. it may desire to be abusive once you have people who think of they talk for God yet harm those youthful minds. IE: You grimy female do no longer you {besides the fact that } is undesirable and now God will punish you. Then perhaps the parent beats you for returned besides the fact that they see as being religiously undesirable. and that i'm no longer asserting that this occurs for all time, besides the fact that if it doe's whilst human beings develop into fanatical of their ideals. one ingredient I do discover incorrect is the baptism of childrens, why because of the fact the loose will taught interior the bible has been taken remote from them. you chosen the religion no longer them. confident, i be responsive to the "you're able to desire to baptize them what in the event that they die in the past you do. they gained't have the unique sin bumped off and be solid into Hell." i think of that's close a minimum of. that's compelled perception appropriate there is not any longer it. i've got self assurance that childrens could desire to discover out approximately all religions or a minimum of the elementary tenants of it. Then enable them to compliment without intervention. existence is packed with hypocrisy. it rather is why I left the church. It wasn't my ideals anymore and that i did no longer desire to be a hypocrite. regulations made by guy approximately perception structures can on no account be enforced. because of the fact perception is a ideas set. that's how racist and maximum hate will become certainty in adults. It became taught to them whilst they have been youthful and grew to become their ideals. merely as Hitlers youthful human beings military became created. a pal I as quickly as knew became in this military. I asked why. He spoke back that's what i became taught my total existence. He has because of the fact replaced his perspectives some years in the past.

So do you now have his belief? He always talks about God you say, sop do you do that too now that he "forced his belief on you." No, well that's no surprise to me for how on earth is it possible to force your belief on someone? It's not! you complain about your Brother forcing his belief on you but I don't believe that you hold his belief now! Am I wrong?Do you hold your Brother's belief now, if he was able to force it on you?

i do not believe in forcing my opinion about any topic on another. people have to choose what works for them and understand that their opinions might not be another persons. just like the crazy brother would not like it when someone shoves their opinion down his throat. people have to be tolerant of others and have an open mind.

Yup. Read some history, More people have been killed in the name of religion than by any other dispute.
I can't believe that any God would have wanted us to slaughter each other in "His" name.
However most religions have some level of missionary work designed to convert people to their beliefs.
