Are you looking for someone to get upset by your question? No one will say that Jesus was born in December, so there is nothing to challenge. We only celebrate his birthday in December.

It rarely would snow in Bethlehem. That would be like saying it snows in Arizona in the winter. It might once in a while. I'd like to know the last time it did. It does once in a very very long while in Jerusalem
The gospels are a better sourse of information about Jesus than the Quran. However there are some things that are not in the gospels because they do not really matter. It does not matter if Jesus was born in the summer or winter to me. It does not matter what Jesus looked like to me. These are fairly superficial questions and not of substance.
Jesus brith is celebrated on Dec 25th not because Christians are convinced he was born then, but because it is the darkest night of the year in Europe and apropriate for the light of the world to shine. Of course it would be the longest day in Australia and they would have to celebrate with a barbeque (or a barbie as they might say)

I'm not going to challenge you, I agree.
In the time of Marchesven (Oct.-Nov.) there would be no pasturage at that time (yes, there is snow, but mainly because of the rain), so the flocks would be housed for the season. Plus, Caesar Augustus had sent out the demand for the census. Winter time would not have been a wise time for this to take place. More than likely (in my opinion), a census would have been called for after the harvest; which would have been the 'off season'.
The church, for the most part didn't even want to celebrate Christ's birthday at first.
"In the Scriptures, no one is recorded to have kept a feast or held a great banquet on his birthday. It is only sinners who make great rejoicings over the day in which they were born into this world" (Catholic Encyclopedia, 1908 edition, Vol. 3, p. 724, "Natal Day").
The Encyclopedia Americana makes this clear: "In the fifth century, the Western Church ordered it [Christ's birth] to be observed forever on the day of the old Roman feast of the birth of Sol [the sun god], as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ's birth existed" (1944 edition, "Christmas").
There's prolly a lot of information out there on this, but you'll notice that a lot of people will deny that the date of Christ's birthday is infallible. But, everyone is entitled to an opinion, whether properly informed on not.

I once watched a documentary on the date that Jesus was born - they looked at it from the scientific point of view of the stars and how they rotate and how long they stayed in one position. They estimated that by the time the wise men reached Jesus, He was already a toddler. I also know that Jesus was not born on December 25, the romans decided to make that day the day of celebration, because at that time, people were celebrating it on different dates around the world.

Your perception is actually right! Evidence show that Jesus was born around October time.
The wise men didn't find him when he was a baby. They found him when he was around 2 1/2 years old.
The Romans made up the date of the birth of Christ to coincide with the worship of their Roman Sun God, which is December 25th.

He could not have been born in december and died in April at the age of 331/2 years old...... do the math. it doesn't add up....... why would the sheperds have their animals out in the dead of winter? wouldn't you have them in a barn to keep them warm? Christmas is a pagan holiday that the Church incorporated into itself. Then uses the Luke account of his birth to say it is the Christmas story.... which is untrue. In the Old testament, I think in Jeremiah, The Lord tells the people "Not to do As The HEATHEN do" do not go into the woods, cut down a tree, nail it to the floor, put decorations on it and stand back and worship it...... people should read it sometime..... I love Christmas time, but lets be honest, and celebrate it because it is fun, lively, and we come together as a family, which we otherwise might not do,,, and oh yeah,,,, the GIFTS

Sorry to disappoint but we already know that. We all know that when Christianity took over from paganism, the influence of the former religion was still very strong because it pervaded every aspect of life in the Roman world. Thus, one way of overcoming this influence was by co-opting its practices, thus Chrstianizing them. Today, everybody remembers Jesus when December 25 comes. Does anybody still remember Saturn and the excesses of the Saturnalia festival? Even Islam condones this practice, otherwise how do we explain the Kaaba inside the holy grounds of Mecca? How many people now know that centuries before Mohammad this bolide was worshipped by pagans until the prophet Islamized it and explained its blackness as the result of sinfulness?

Jesus was a Pisces and was born in The 15th of March.I get this information from a very wise Master who works very close to humanity at this time.Jesus was just one of the Masters of Wisdom and has always worked with his own spiritual teacher who is the Lord Maitreya. The gospel story is really the stages of initiation in which we all at some time must tread for this is alapart of the plan that all men become divine beings very soon now.At this time the man Jesus is now living in the city of Rome and dwells in a Syrian body that is some 960 years old and will be with a group of Masters who will come forward after Maitreya has declared himself to all of humanity. They are coming to teach man about the laws that govern our being and to teach us about the nature of the soul.

Technically the specialists say Jesus became truly born around July, so it became summer time. How they got here up with this you may could desire to Google it. the rationalization it quite is celebrated in December is yet yet another long winded rationalization.

The Bible doesn't state ever that Jesus was born in winter...actually what you say is true of the Biblical account of His birth. Christmas is celebrated in Winter in the US because of traditions of men...not because the Bible instructs it. It is a Roman Catholic institution of this holiday and is not Scripturally supported. Jesus was conceived in late December and born in late September.
We know this, not because of some tree, or because of the quran, but because we know that John the Baptist, Jesus' cousin, was conceived in June, and he is 6 months older than Jesus.
See the gospel of Luke, for complete details.
