It's just a story... Don't worry about the motives.... but do try not to be as nasty as God was in this little tale.

If someone is killed by a drunk driver, do you blame God? Dangers in this world exist. You have to be careful and aware of these dangers. Bears do exist. Storms sometimes hit. Dangerous people exist. You take a risk, when you do certain things. God made life challenging. Man does not address, a lot of the problems in this world very well, so the world is not such a wonderful place. God wants us to do the work required to make this world better. We could have a better future, if we would develop more moral character, and start really addressing the serious problems we have. You might want to address the problem between people and bears.

If you are speaking of the recent release of the documentary about Tim Treadwell's demise along with his girlfriend all I can say is...God didn't send the bears...Tim went to them. After 13 summers spent with these animals he grew quite content and someone deluded in his role among them and failed to take proper precautions. He has been warned numerous times and so took his life in his own hands and that of his companion. I live in Alaska and everyone here knows...you don't go around bears with females at certain times of the year...ya juss don't go near them...period. They are wild unpredictable animals. Besides, more bears are killed by humans than ever kill a human. Maybe Tim became a cautionary tale so that others wouldn't suffer the same consequence. Love in Christ, ~J~

No, this would not trivialize God.God will pay interest to his babies in great factor. i think of which you're speaking on the subject of the youngsters that have been harassing Paul. IF I bear in ideas properly the youngsters weren't noisy, or in basic terms pesty, they have been extra of a gang that led to worry. we does no longer learn gangs of right this moment with noisy babies, we could understand them for what they are. Criminals. If I bear in ideas properly while i became analyzing this component to the bible, those babies have been a gang of youngsters that have been disruptive and issues in society. God in basic terms call out a number of his creation to guard his newborn that became following his will and spreading his be conscious. this could be a marvelous scene the place God protects his human beings, and destroys the enemy. exhibiting even the animals of the earth obey his be conscious. So do no longer mess with God's babies, simply by fact it ought to have very harsh repercussions. all the way by way of the scriptures you detect places the place God will use animals to do his will. Jonah and the whale,Daniel and the Lions den, in basic terms to call some. i've got self assurance that our God is a God of info, simply by info that He has positioned into all of His creation. on condition that He has positioned lots into His creation, it in basic terms is clever that He could look after them. persons are given loose will, and as quickly as we make the incorrect possibilities, we go through the end results of our possibilities. those young babies needless to say did no longer have any appreciate for the be conscious of God or the those that further it, so as that they only made a decision that led to them their lives.

As usual there is a whole lot of nonsense in the answers.(but then question isnt that much better)

If you had of read the Bible verse that it is reference to your would have understanding.

In the passage it refers to was a group of young people that were showing great disrespect to the anointed servants of God.
Their actions were deliberate and not accidental.
They were showing disrespect for Gods arrangement and HIS standards.

These people did not qualify to remain living , so some wild animals (2 she bears) were allowed to execute punishment upon them from God immediately.

Is this unfair , No not at all.
All who live their life in way that displeases God will face the music one day.
For those young people it came sooner than later.

..and I am all for that.

He's not santa claus. (In fact Saint Nicholas was not even Santa Claus - according to Eusebius he punched a heretic) God is more than loving. He's also judicious and holy. So don't piss him off.

I have been wondering how God could kill people if he is a "loving god" or a "merciful god"? And the only answer people tell me is that it is "God's Will" and that makes me think "What about my will?"

he's loving in the same sense physically abusive parent is. he strikes down people all the time. sometimes he even kills them. but he's just doing it to "help them". it's because he cares, but those foolish mortals didn't live up to his expectations. god must be a sad creature. he could really use some counseling.
