When your on Benefits can you do Charity work?

My friend is on DLA and income support and she wanted to try and do some chairty work for an hour a week , would u be alound to do that?and is there anyway you can find out without rining the benefits people themselve?

Yes, as long as she is not earning anything, she would be ok!!
