I have completed B.Sc. and joined Air force as an Airman in Jan2004.I have completed 4yrs of service.My father expired last year.On what grounds I can get discharge from service and further I want to join any other central government service.

finish your Active Duty Commitment and do not re enlist. Your father dying has no impact unless you can prove a severe family hardship, such as your mother being unable to take care of her self alone.

I'm not sure I understand...you joined in Jan 04 but you say you have completed 4 years of service?

Were you a four year or six year enlistee?

You might be eligible for a hardship discharge but if you were a 4 year enlistee, you will be coming up on your DOS anyways. You definitely need to talk to the separation folks at the MPF.

Finish your enlistment. Unless you want a dishonorable discharge, then you wont get a government job.

Talk to your supervisor and 1st shirt.

unless your mother cant care for herself they wont let you out till yourenlistment is up
