A few of my tattoos took more than one session to complete. I usuallly start fading and getting iritable after 3 hours, but with this last tat I'm getting, I've had 2 session : the first was 6 1/2 hours straight, the second session was 5 1/2 hours. Just curious on how long you can sit in the chair for.

my leg is going to take me over 50 hours to get it done and the first session i had was over 8 hours in outlining the tattoo after they free handed it on my leg and that took up to 5 hours to draw..I normally go in for 3 hours to 5 depending on how busy my friend is and how much money i have at the time but i can go all day if i had to money as it don't hurt me at all to get tattooed and i find the pain pretty pleasurable to be honest with you...

i have had many many tattoo sessions but i really don't like having long ones becuse it is a physical drain. i think my longest few have been 3 1/2 hours and i've done that three times. most of my sessions are 2-3 hours. my artist rarely will tattoo someone for 4 hours or more at one time.

The longest I have sat at once is 1 1/2 hrs. My tattoo artist likes to get up and stretch about every hour or so, so I get frequent breaks. However, until my current work-in-progress, all my tattoos have been relatively small. This is my first one not finished in one sitting.

The tattoo on my leg took about an hour and a half to two hours. It was just uncomfortable b/c of the way I had to sit.

My tattoo only took about an hour and a half...
My uncle had 3 sittings for his tattoo, about 5 hours each. Ouch.

Most of my tattoos are small, so my sittings haven't been too brutal. My chest took about 3 and a half hours if you don't count the breaks.

Longest was 6 hours. Left shoulder. It got pretty painful that last hour.

one session be about an hour or two for outline of the cross and two roses and for color.. oh gosh... it took longer than two hours. But it is worth while... and no break... my mom almost ring my neck for her pain lol I told her that the outline wasn't hurt. then two weeks later she got my tooth ache medicne and numbed it for color lol
