This is an extract from an article I just found, and I thought the woman in this article seemed to have gone through a really similar experience as to "size matters" as you are right now. She said she is doing well with a full C cup. I think you'd be good with somewhere around a C too! Talk it out with your doctor, though. Good luck! :) (Oh and read the article... it's really informative about how to make the right choice on size!)

Breast Implant Basics - Size Matters:

If you are seriously considering the surgery or even scheduled for it already, you are probably concerned about what size will be right for you. The general consensus seems to be a small to full C cup but because people's builds are so varied, including weight, height and general build, this is probably the most personal decision you will have to make.

I am about 5'4" tall, weigh 135 pounds, and have a medium build. I am a size 6 or 7. I was a small A cup before I had children but had some fullness to my breasts. Afterwards, from breast-feeding, I lost any fullness I had. I had always considered getting implants but after breast feeding, it was only a question of when I would get them and how much they would cost--after considering all the risks, of course. I chose a C cup.

As discussed more below, after surgery, your breasts will be very firm, very swollen and very high. After about a month, they start to loosen up, move down and shrink in size. Although I found it hard to believe one-month post-op, all doctors that I have consulted with and almost all of the women that I know of who have implants, wish, after recovery, that they were bigger. Although the size after surgery is often shocking, the implanted breasts "shrink" and soften and move down into a "normal" position for as long as a year. At that point, many women wish they had gone bigger.

Your doctor may discuss cup size with you and you may see or hear a lot of discussion about how many cc's to get. Do not tell your doctor what cup size you want and expect to get it. He or she may not know what YOU mean by a C cup or a D cup. Similarly, do not try to figure out how many cc's you need and then tell your doctor "I want 350 ccs." Do speak to your doctor in terms of pictures and actual bras you would like to fill. Bring pictures to your consultation of women that you want to look like and bring them to surgery. I discussed what cup size my doctor felt belonged to the women in my favorite pictures and we agreed, on that basis, that a C cup would be good for my body size. After looking at pictures together, I felt that he knew what I meant by "C cup." Print photos from the website and bring them with you.

Be careful about the "full C" myth. According to my doctor, full C is equivalent to a "baby D" cup for many people which, unless you want to be really big or have a big body type, could be really big. On the other hand, if your doctor is conservative, his or her idea of a C may be much smaller than you are hoping for.

My one cousin, who had surgery an hour after mine, is about 5 foot tall and 95 to 100 pounds soaking wet. She has a full B and thought immediately after surgery that they were too small. My other cousin is about my size and had silicone removed and replaced with saline in a full D size. She was afraid that hers were too big. They are both happy with them now that nine months have passed.

Stick to pictures and spend a lot of time with your doctor to make sure you both know what you want. The photo gallery is a great place to start. Find pictures that you like and print them to bring with you to your consultation. Part of the confusion surrounding cc's is that everyone's starting body type and amount of breast tissue will affect her ultimate result. 400 cc's placed onto a flat chest will create a C cup on an average size woman. A very small woman with an existing B cup will probably end up with a D cup that will look rather large on her small frame. I now have smooth round Mentor implants filled to 425 cc's and am a full C cup.

I don't expect you want to hear this but 19 is way too young to have a boob job. When I was 19 I was 32B, by mid twenties I was 32DD and I didn't gain weight anywhere else - in fact I lost a bit of puppy fat and grew boobs. Maybe I was a late developer but I really don't think it's worth the risk to get it done so young. B cup is not flat chested anyway, get a wonderbra and see what happens in a few years time.

The reason you are a b cup is because you are a size 6. Im 19 and I gained a stone in weight and went from a C to almost an E, (the pill did that). I swear it depends on how naturally proportioned you are too. Because youre so petite, it wouldnt look right on someone with such a small frame, and all the wrong attention off males, people not taking you seriously thinking youre trashy, hard to find clothes that fit your petite body and your cup size, and not to mention back problems. If a guy likes you for you then you dont have to change who you are!!! Insecurity isnt solved because of boobs!!! My breasts get annoying not to mention physical activity, fitting into clothes, and male attention, gets me down!

No way a boob job? Thats not even small why would you want to upgrade your boob size? I think its a bad idea unless you were a AA or some thing like that then ok fair enough but its prob because you have low self esteem or some thing. I think your silly to want it to be honest its a waste of money and it sounds like your boobs are in proportion with your body or you'll just look strange if your a size 6-8 u need naturally small boobs to look right on your small frame!

I know you said"guys", but this is a pet peeve of mine, because I had the opposite problem I was too "big" and wanted a breast reduction. I wore a size 8/9 and my cup size was "D". I hated it in grammer school all the boys would say dirty things to me. I hated it in high school, all they wanted me for was for sex, and I had a fairly decent "mind"! I hated it in college, even the professors made passes, and I hated it
when I entered my profession. When I got promoted the guys would wink like it was a bedroom joke and the other female employees would whisper loudly about the reason I received a promotion!

For years I have suffered with back pain because of the weight on my small frame.. So I finally went to have my breast reduction and guess what happened? All the surgeon did was a biopsy for a small lump in my breast. When I came out of the anesthesia, I was furious. I was happy because it was a benign tumor, but I still had these huge Boobs. Dolly Parton has suffered with back pain also, look it up!

My advice to you is to keep what God gave you, or at least STAY in PROPORTION to the rest of your body, and don't go father than a 34C or you may regret it forever if you develop
this horrible shoulder and back pain! Good luck!

I am the same build as you, and made a HUGE mistake by going too big, I am now a 34 y/o professional and can't wear a lot of classic professional clothes... I am 36DD and can't run, or do much at all as far as aerobic activity. I also went over the muscle another big mistake... I would go with a full C, because you will look natural and not like a freak of nature like I feel like sometimes. And remember gravity is a biotch!!

I'm not even going to comment on that because if you are looking for advice on something that serious, this is the wrong place, there are too many idiots here.

If you are going to listen to anything here please make it this: Do all the research you can. You have every right to do what you feel you should to feel better about yourself, but please, don't agree to a procedure until you are sure, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the surgeon you have chosen is right for the job.

sweet heart take it from some one who has big boobs naturally, it is not a good thing!!! you are a very slight person, having big boobs can cause alot of pain! i am a size 10 with DD boobs and, had to go to a chiropractor since i was 11! i've had awful backache since i was that young! and silicon is heavier than a natural breast so it would weigh more again!
and you would be surprised how many blokes dont like big boobs. and you also are less likely to get nice bras, believe me its a bloody nightmare for me! really its not that great a thing and if i wasnt so scared of surgery i would get a reduction!

That depends on how superficial you are, how slutty you want to look, and how much you'd rather have a man stare at your boobs than treat you with respect.

If you're just typically superficial, of average sluttiness, and am interested in a man having momentary glance at your face when you talk to him, I'd go with a size C.

If you're mostly superficial, want to lean heavily in favor of looking like a $lut, and want a man to just get a very minimal glance at your face (perhaps one or two seconds) I'd go with AT LEAST a DD.

If you're superficial to the core, want to look like a 100 percent Grade A $lut (like a topless dancer, for instance), and want a man to totally disregard the fact that any anatomy exists above your collarbone, and completely disrespect you, I'd go with a FF or higher.

So, when you decide to waste $500 to $2000 for your boob job when there are millions of children with nothing to eat, no place to go to school, without homes, and without access to a doctor, make sure you choose from the aforementioned categories carefully.

Good luck! :)

1) You are too young to make a lifelong decision forcing you into surgery every 8-12 years.
2) You sound perfectly formed and petite, whatever decision you make, try and stay in proportion
3) Why do (young and old) women always want to change what they have? - you've got curly hair, you want straight hair, straight haired girls want curly hair, big breasted girls want small ones and visa-versa
4) Live life and enjoy what you have - wear those T-Shirts without a bra while you can!
