im so scared of whales because of their size and just how they look but i've always had a whale phobia ever since i was like 5.
is it weird?
am i the only one thats scared of them?

Does your being scared of whales cause problems in your life? If not, why worry about it? I'm afraid to climb up more than 3 stories on a ladder but I don't have to do that in a job or in my personal life, so it doesn't bother me.
I don't know why I'm afraid of heights as I wasn't when I was a teenager. There were some frightening experiences I had in my late teens so I wonder if that caused it; but it doesn't make any difference.
I used to work as a RN on psychiatric units for 20 years. As I remember from my psychology classes, phobias are not a problem for a person unless they cause a problem in the persons life.
If the whale phobia does affect your life in negative way; phobias are the easiest and and the most successfully treated of psychological problems.
Just for fun, can you think of anything that could possibly be connected to a whale that was an unpleasant experience for you as a child? Or did something that was really big scare you, even if it wasn't a whale?
Anyway. I think that it's interesting that you have a phobia about whales and I bet you are not the only one.

No i am 2! ive even had a nighmare of whales before but the thing that really scares me are sharks!!!! ur not wierd thats just 1 of your fears

I am scared of all kinds of water animals . but if I was next to a whale I would be very scared. and I love to snorkel
I am afraid of sharks ever since I saw jaws. even in my own pool.

I'm scared of marine stuff in general. I'd never swim in the sea in case I touched a fish, just thinking about that feeling makes me shudder. However, I like (and keep) turtles, which is very weird.
