I know shy girls have emotions but its hidden compared to some outgoing girls who try to find a way to talk to the guys they like. DO shy girls stare at their crush? Do they try to avoid their crush because they are shy or scared they will do something embarrassing?

I mean theres this girl in my class, she sits in the same spot everyday and then one day I just sat in the seat right next to her and she moves all the way to the back. Sometimes I catch her staring at me. I've never wronged her before nor showed signs of stupidity. I see her around campus sometimes alone and she looks at me as I pass by. I can't tell why she is reacting like this around me.

Thanks for reading.

She likes you! As simply as that.

When I was in high school, I was a shy girl in this kinda guys-chasing thing. So I can tell that she likes you.

Well, yea, when a shy girl has feelings for a boy, she will stare at him, but she really doesn't know how to get to know him better. Instead of doing something, she's WAITING for the guy to do the "approaching" thus she just stares at them a lot, hoping by staring at him he will realize that she likes him.

She's waiting for you to say "hi" first to her. But don't give her so much hope if you're not interested. That would be a huge downfall for her.

Some signs that she likes you:

1. She is smiling, grinning, looking a bit bashful because you caught her looking at you. Same goes with giggles or looking coy - tilting her head to one side as she is looking at you.

2. Fidgeting with clothes or hair - she is trying to make sure she looks her best and is doing a "self check".

3. Looks at you for a few seconds (3-4 seconds), smiles and then looks away.

4. Constantly looks at you - namely into your eyes - as she passes by. Even more so if she smiles, grins, etc.

5. Does she act flirty with you? Does she even say "Hi"? Does she have that fluctuation in her voice like someone that is interested (you know what I mean - "Hi-i-i-i-i!)? This would be good, too.

These are just a few ways. Remember that she may want you to make the first move.

If, however, she has no expression when she passes by or stares at you like she might be psycho, or trying to figure out if she knows you from somewhere - as in a bad memory - then this might not be good.
