Joh 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
No. You are very wrong in stating that the teachings of Jesus in the bible are imcomplete. To understand the bible you should read not only one verse but all verses in every, book. The words in the bible are complete and correct, yet perfect. Just try to read everything in it and if still you can not understand ask the help of God to guide you and let you understand..

First of all, Jesus was not referring to the bible when he said those words to the disciples. And normally Jesus, like all other teachers in the world, could not teach or disclose to his disciples all that he knows and all that he wants to convey in few settings. Three years or less was too short for Jesus to tell the disciples the eternal wisdom of God. That is why, the Holy Spirit is with the Church to continue the outpouring of God's revelation of His great love for us.

His teachings were complete on earth and the fulfillment of the Old Testament. He added one commandment to Love one another, fulfilling the law. The rest will be learned in heaven with Him 1st Corinthians 13: 9-10

What he meant was that he had a lot of other things to teach, but there wasn't enough time left to say them.
He followed up this statement with a promise of the Holy Spirit (the comforter) who could complete his teachings. "He will lead you into all truth."
