Keep on taking the accutane. Its going to get worse before it-it gets better!!!! Believe me-my son was on it and it was really a constant thing for me to take him to Lab Cor to get tested every 6 wks!!! He found no improvement during the treatment, the acne finally settled after 2 yrs and he is scar free- The drug is amazing because it will leave you scarless of acne and the only problem is the constatnt drug testing to check your liver-the drug doesnt agree w certain people.

Your doctor might need to up your dosage.
When I started taking Accutane I was put on 40mg a day and when I finished my treatment I was at 80mg a day.
Definitely talk to your doctor about this. Your acne will get worse before it gets better and it can take a few months for you to notice changes. Good luck!

I was on it and it worked wonders! But yeah, it got worse before it got better....a lot better. The side effects do suck though, the dry skin can be a hassel but other than that I was lucky not to get any serious sider effects. Keep seeing your dermotologist tho, they're the expert.

I would go off that and go on a lose dose birth control pill. Accutane has way too many side effects.

I dunno, but that happenned to my bf. It got worse at first but then it totally cleared up. he also used a strong astringent at night...

no no no stop taking that it's not good ..you can take birth control pills that will clear your acne hella fast...
