They're addicted to hate, violence and murder. Their whole lives revolve around denial and sour grapes toward the Jews, when they could admit that they're wrong and start growing as civilized human beings.
They might even learn to invent the wheel and contribute something to the world.

You got some great answers and I hope that your question is read by many!
I agree that the government of Palestine does not want peace and money-maker has the pinned the nail on the donkey....when he points out that these people are being used.
I have always found it curious that the neighboring Arab countries could not find a piece of land for these folks to call their own. Why must Israel become a two state nation when their are so many neighboring countries that could comply?

MikeInRI, dear MikeInRI, honey,
Since the 1948 people have been fed with hate, animosity, greed, and racism. You can't expect to change all people at once. Many Palestinains want peace especially those outside the land but for those who are inside, they experience humilation everyday and they can't simply forget about it. Please just wait, soon they will have themselves forced to accept the two-state solution. It is the only solution for now and they will have to accept the fact as it is.
Meanwhile let us all pray for peace in the middle east and let us also pray that the Israelis decrease there humilation to innocents. If they want to punish the terrorists, by all means they have the right, but believe me many innocent people are also affected and are paying for guilt they didn't do.
EU Citizen makes good points.
I will always pray for peace.
Peace/Shalom/Salaam
from your Palestinian friend.
mystic m:
Your claim that 75% of palestinains deny the right of Israel to exist is not supported by a proof. I can provide an articles that shows exactly the opposite of that. Here it is:

To prove that I am not a minority, I provided an article that has statistics, please check it.

mimi you are a minority among your own.
To the asker: No, there is no "sane and responsible" among them. The "sane and responsible" get killed as collaborators right on the streets of Gaza.
Jews have all kinds of opinions, some of them are as radical as "lets just give it all to the Arabs in the name of peace"
and yet no one gets murdered.
Peace will not happen until Palestinians don't realize that they are being used as a tool to implement the destruction of Israel. A tool used by the Saudis, Iranians, Egyptians.... Whoever pays more at the given moment.
They (Palestinians) are kept in the darkness of hatred by their own Arab/Muslim brothers.
Land is not an issue when you live next to a friend. When your friend wants to use your land - you let him. When your enemy wants to take it from you - you kick your enemy in the face, and take more of his land.
Please, anyone, feel free to rebut my testimony.

I notice a lot of the new song the PA is playing on their TV channel in these answers.
The one promising that Israel will disappear.
How do you claim to be peaceful when you go around singing death to each other?
I'm sorry but as a combat vet I feel there is a lot more merit to love one another than Holy War. Holy Crap.

'Mystic m' has given a really good response. And she hits the nail on the head: the Palestinians are very clearly saying what they want and how they feel, but for some strange reason the world chooses not to hear them.
The image of Israel in the diaspora is a really bad one, and unfortunately successive Israeli spokespeople have little to improve it. I realise that the Israelis have enough problems without having to also factor in the world's opinion, but I would argue that it does matter what other countries think. Israel needs all the support she can get.
In the UK, just to give you one example, the Muslim lobby is incredibly efficient and regularly appears on TV and gets articles into newspapers which bash Israel. But there is nobody from the Israeli side to offer an alternative opinion.
Israel needs better PR. Because G-d knows, the Muslims have a brilliant PR machine working on their behalf.

Those poor people are just being used as pawns. They are fed lies. have been indoctrinated into a death cult. Where death is preferable to trying to make thier lives better. Someday the few fortunate ones that have escaped into the western countries will be able to teach their brethren how to fend fof themselves and possibly have a country of their own, living peacefully next door to Israel.
It is so nice to dream.

It's too easy to paint with a broad brush, and talk about Palestinians as if they are all the same.
Or Jews.
Or Christians.
This is stereotyping. This is bigotry.
We are not pleasing to God.

There are Palestinians who want peace with Israel. I know some personally. There are even Palestinians who love and pray for the Jewish people... but they are people who have repented from bitterness and pride and unforgiveness and who have received Messiah Yeshua, (Jesus), the King of the Jewish people and the King of the Nations as the atonement for their sins.
http://www.hopeforishmael.org/testimonies_tass.html
http://www.cbn.com/CBNNews/CWN/031204palestinians.aspx
Repentance brings peace to human hearts, one by one. Humbling oneself before the King and obeying Him leads to peace and strength to love.
Yeshua will one day return and rule from Jerusalem. "he will not judge with the sight of his eyes, or decide with the hearing of his ears/ but with righteousness judge the poor/ and decide with fairness for the meek" and "Of the increase of his kingdom and of his rule there will be no end." (Isaiah)
Both Jews and Gentiles will humble themselves, and the world will know peace at last.
When Joseph son of Jacob was finally revealed to his brothers, as first he seemed foreign to them. He was dressed up like a Gentile and spoke a language that seemed foreign. However, at one point, Joseph (Yosef) told all the Egyptians to leave the room, and there was no one else there when Joseph revealed his true identity to his brothers. He hugged them and kissed them and told them to come close. He told them not to blame themselves and that it was for the saving of many lives that G-d had sent him on ahead and had allowed him to suffer in order to be in the place to bless them at the point of their need.
The same thing will happen when Yeshua is revealed to His Jewish brothers and sisters, too, Zechariah says.
May G-d bless the Messianic Jewish and Gentile believers in the Land God promised to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. May Jewish people and Palestinians know the things that make for internal peace which spills out and overflows.
The time to favor Zion (Psalms 102 says) has come.
Pray for the good and safety of Jewish people everywhere, and pray that the culture of child abuse that Palestinian children everywhere are exposed to would come to an end.
The problem in America, Israel, and the rest of the world is summed up in one verse in the Book of Judges. "There was no king in Israel in those days, and everyone did what was right in his own eyes."
When we (humanity) bow before the King of the Universe and acknowledge His rule and His solutions and His trustworthy love for all people (whether they return His love or not yet) , our lives will come into the order that heaven desires. "Your kingdom come/ Your will be done" -- when we all say and mean that and see the (Jewish) King in His glory, peace will come in abundance.
