Seeing That the Howard govenment has its head in the sand of the last 11 years, should the average Coastel residents be worried about the violent storm's that will be the norm if there is nothhing done to combat this change, I do know that it is global, but someone has to make a stand before its too late,No amount of money is going to change conditions of the planet if there is nothing being done by the most Industry rich countries, they should be the first do it, and not wait for someone else,

If the storms that are appearing now , and coastel cities will bear the brunt of such wild weather that has never been seen before, The sea will rise, and no amount of protection on the area where they live will not protect them.

If the sea turns nasty anyone living on those area's will be hit hard , and very Hard at that. soil erosion , where will their houses go, reclaimed by the sea, it will rise you know,

With such wild wearther that is appearing of late .should you be worried

Your opening sentence puts the 'blame' on Howard. Is Rudd going to different in the slightest? Labor's one and only climate change policy is to call John Howard a denier. If you think Peter Garret is going to start jumping up and down and getting all angry like he did in the 1970's - it's not going to happen. He very politely toes the party line now.

Vote Greens if you are interested in the environment, but they are all old enough and wise enough to realise that CO2 emissions are a very small part of the total environment picture.

Yea. Here in America, after the 2005 hurricane season, we were told that we should expect more and more storms, and more and more violent storms. We were told that the active 2005 season was our wake up call, and life would never be the same again.

So what happened in 2006 and 2007 - Nothing.

No one can predict the weather more than a few days in advance. Don't worry.

Really? My advice would be to take a Bex and a lie down, stay off the red cordial, and don't believe everything you see on television.
Climate change is happening, and may accelerate some. Everything else is speculation.
