you can check new or used car website: car.com

Or drive around your neighboring city - In my neighborhood (near San Jose) the neighborhood seems to be have allot of parked cars with for sale signs listed in them.

Also, go to Safeway - if I remember correctly they have a magazine rack near the entrance and it has a car magazine. Check the adds there as well.

you might want to seriously think about putting some of that money down on a new car and having payments because what you are asking for is nearly impossible. you are in CA. you might try kia. check with a lot of the year end closeouts that have no interest or something. also check with local rental car places where the cars will be newer but have a few miles on them.
the link below is within a 100 mile radius of where you indicated. with the price indicated. you said "NEW" and i am assuming you mean brand new and not used. either way, there are a lot of listings on this site.

No new car sells for $7000. Get an issue of Consumer Reports at your library and their recommendations in your price range will have a number of models to choose from. Then look for those cars that suit your needs - 2 or 4 doors, FWD or AWD, great gas mileage or room for 5. Next, explore craigslist for your area to see if there are any matches. Finally, do your homework regarding financing; get pre-approved for a loan at your credit union so you can offer "cash" when making the deal.
