With proper medication, suprisingly very little. But you can expect at least a minor outbreak of symptoms about once yearly. Usually the onset will either be depression or paranoia with withdrawl from normal activities. Even that is usually headed off with a temporary increase to medication. Whoops! Day to day? I think the medication will tend to make you a bit drousy and flaten mood a bit. Both those are reasons people quit taking them. But there are new and better medications that are much better. Respiradol being one of them. Good luck. Many are living very normal lives. I have known a few. One that likes to beat me at chess.

For a true example of how a person's day-to-day life is affected, watch the movie -- A BEAUTIFUL MIND. The movie covers his struggles over his adult lifetime.

Very anxious.

The quality of your life would decrease. It would be really hard if you didn't take medication.
