I work at a nursing home, and some lady mistakes shampoo for face wash sometimes. She probably doesn't wash it all off when she does this because she is over a sink and not in the shower, but it makes her face brake out in a rash. It turns her eyes puffy like she has boxed 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. I'd say if you are in the shower and make sure you rinse it off thoroughly you should be alright, but don't try in otherwise.

Sure you can, just like you can wash your hair with soap or body wash. They are all emulsifiers, which are chemicals that break down oils. In fact, it may be a good idea to do this. Most shampoos leave a residue in the form of a moisturizer which may help your skin. It doesn't hurt your scalp, so why not?

yes it is possible to wash your face with shampoo but if you over wash it that may cause break ups and you can wash your face with shampoo to remove eyeliner or any make up

sure, you'd have really beautiful facial hair.
on a serious note, i don't think soap and shampoo make as much of a difference as commercials want us to believe. if you was your face in shampoo you should be able to get most dirt off your face.

Well, i have before, on accident. And it didn't hurt my skin any, but didn't really do any better than facial wash.
Either one works.

Well you could but why would you want to, I can't imagine it would do anything special...it would probably just make your skin dry.
