even as im writing this , im feeling like i need to get up and do something . Im worried this may be serious . I cant sit still some times and i cant keep my mind on one thing . Like when i try to help my son with his homework , i really cant . Not because i dont want to , but because i cant think about one topic at a time . Its gotten worse as ive gotten older . I also cant watch tv without turning the tv up or down every minute or so ....
I also laugh for no reason sometimes . For example , my uncle died a few months ago and i went to his funeral . Well he was a nice guy and everything and i was sad that hes gone . But while the pastor was talking , i couldnt stop lauging because of the way he was talking . And i didnt want to laugh at all , but i just kept laughing and laughing , oh it was horrible ....Please is there something wrong with me .

Adults can have ADD /ADHD and don’t recognize because its symptoms are often mistaken for a stressful life. Quite often when children have these symptoms often experience some form of depression later in life, and that could mean a number of things anxiety disorders being one of them.
The excessive energy you experience is best controlled by exercise, and you need to try and find other ways to help you relax. Nervous laughing is not uncommon, but you could have mild Asperger traits, its just a different way of thinking and seeing things, and usually the only problem is lack of understanding yourself fully.
But really could be any or none of these, would just be guessing like everyone else, without knowing your full history. So you really need to see a professional about this, see your doctor first and they can refer you.

I'm not a therapist, so I can't give you a definitive answer. But, I reckon you need to be taken down a notch or two. You're mind and body are working on overdrive.
It could be ADD or anxiety for instance. The laughing could be caused by anxiety and nervousness. Being restless could be from both the anxiety and ADD. Same with your mind jumping around.
You didn't mention anything stressful in your life - so I ruled out stress causing your symptoms.
Go see a doc and tell him/her about your symptoms. I suspect this is something with an easy fix - a therapist to show you just what is bothering you or a doc who'll prescribe a medication. Don't suffer needlessly.

My husband has the same thing....he can't sit still. He constantly changes the channels on the remote. He'll pace back and forth for hours, just holding a conversation with me. My son is showing signs of the same problem. I don't believe ADHD is a disease, so I won't tell you that you have that. You just need to be more active. My husband started restoring an old truck when his "problem" became more evident. Now, when he gets this way, he heads out to the garage. You might want to try finding 1 hobby that you can do only when you get to feeling this way. Good Luck!

There's something wrong with everybody. You don't sound like you have anything greatl amiss. If you find yourself bothered too much or unable to handle things, seek out a therapist. In the meantime simply check out a book on abnormal psychology at your library. Don't over diagnose yourself. It is common for readers seeking self help to diagnose themselves with everything listed. Believe me you don't. But it is very helpful in understanding a few quirks. And everyone gets something. I turn up my TV. It's company. On all the time but hardly watch it simply noise unless something of interest comes along.... which is more and more of a rarity. As to laughing, it's good for you.

I think you likely have a mild form of two disorders...
I agree that you are anxious---even if you don't realize it.
You don't have to take medication though. You need to slow down your whole life and learn new ways to cope with anxiety. Yoga & meditation are great to quiet the mind and offer some peace. Try either?

I think that some of what you are going through is normal for some people, you may need to see a doctor to be tested for a few things, if something is wrong with you, it may be attention deficit disorder, but you'd need to see a doctor to be sure.

Often anxiety manifests itself as restlessness and hysteria. The emotions are real, however it is the way they present themselves that can be of worry. It may be deap seated worry, or fear that is causing you to feel this way. Try and talk to someone who can help you find out what the real problem is, and then walk you through it.

I'm not a doctor, so I can't tell you what's wrong. BUT you must see a phychiatrist fast. If you are lucky, you have some type of attention deficit disorder, which is relatively easy to control.

Your odds of finding someone here who can offer you an accurate diagnosis are outweighed exponentially by the odds of finding someone at a mental health clinic who can do it. You need to look for help in the right place....go to a professional.
Good Luck.
