How long is it going to take people to learn that his name is spelled Jimmie Johnson, not Jimmy Johnson or Jemmy Jonson?

I hear ya, I correct them all the time, it's a no win situation, it don't matter, just remember the name Jimmie Johnson! Go 48,Go!!! Maybe they'll just remember the back to back champ!!!! no name needed for that title!

I agree, but his REAL fans know how to spell it. That's all that really matters. The other haters and bashers of Jimmie shouldn't really matter anyhow. All they do is make fun of him, call him a cheater, make fun of his eyebrows, call him a crybaby (never heard him cry) but in reality he is a CLEAN driver who shows respect for other drivers, donates (not many do), 2nd in points, and is 2nd in the chase and overall an excellent driver! GO 48!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate when people mix that up. I always spelled it Jimmie people have to learn how to spell his name. And Gordon is not Gorden!

He is great no matter how people spell it, lol. I doubt everybody will ever get it right. My sister still offlines me "how did Jimmy do?" I guess it's the point that she cares enough to ask. Grit your teeth and bare it. It will be hard at first, but gets easier with time. (smile)

I'm sure his fans can spell his name right, others either just don't care or pay enough attention. I think that happens a lot when there are different spelling of a name. Check the spelling with the pics here, they can't even get it right. lol
