I'm guessing that because of they're rough, wheat, texture they may be giving some people digestive problems - which can lead to weird dreams.
Some foods aren't great bedtime snacks. Usually, something relatively easily digestable makes a better night-time snack.
If I eat Doritos too late I tend to have dreams that I'm having a baby (labor pains). The only time I've ever dreamed about that was after eating Doritos too late.
When you're having intestinal "issues" (pains) in your sleep your dreams get nutty.

I doubt that Frosted Mini Wheats contain anything that specifically cause weird dreams. I suggest that you do a more thorough study and watch carefully what you eat and seriously test this inference of yours if you really want to know the answer.

Its the wheat. The buy the cheapest wheat around. It probably fermented or changed in the processing of the Mini Wheat and then let stew in the box. You can do that by taking Valerian root sold at CVS. Take three and you have great vivid dreams! Good Luck!

I am trained dream interpreter, so this is giving me "food for thought". Sorry, I couldn't resist!
Dreams are highly symbolic, so write them down and try to figure out what each symbol means to you. Sometimes you can figure what the interpretation is by doing that.
Sweet dreams! Hey, maybe Frosted Mini-Wheats is where that saying came from.....

Those aren`t weird dreams you are having. They just seem weird because you don`t know how to decipher them. You will have to get some one who eats unfrosted mini wheats to explain what the dreams really mean. I think there are some bible stories similar to what you are describing.

There is no documented evidence that one particular brand of food causes dreams.
Perhaps it's because you are snacking on a carbohydrate that is coated with sugar, and you have excess glucose in your system. The brain is capable of using glucose as fuel. You are fueling your brain and then inducing REM sleep.
