Oh my god! I got chicken pox from my friends son, it's a slightly mild case because I have already had the vaccine. I did go to the doctor and they confirmed it, what can I do to get some relife from this. It's my frst day with spots and it's driving me insane! Also, do you know on average how frequently I can take a benadrylll?

have you tried taking a bath in aveno,,, it's an oatmeal bath,, or epson salts... try calamine lotion,,, all these things help the itching.... as far a \s benedryll i think it's 1 every 4 hours,,,..
you think you got it bad try having a set of twins that get it and you are a single parent before computers and on line was here to ask the question let alone getting any answers.........
please do not scratch it can leave horrible marks,,,
didn't you ask the dr,, for suggestions or ideas on things to help........

In adults, Benadryl can be 25-50 mg orally every 6 hours. About 90% of the population gets sedated to some degree from Benadryl so it's best not to attempt driving or operating dangerous machinery while on Benadryl (in fact, Benadryl is a common ingredient in over-the-counter sleeping medicine!).
