I have a 3 year old female Siamese named Perdita. She is an indoor cat and was fixed about 2 years ago. Lately she has been crying NON STOP! She has plenty of food/water. I play with her, love her, and pet her! I can not seem to make her happy. The weather has recently gotten cold, could that be it? She is due for her yearly check up, but not saying anything bad about vets, but it seems they like to just run lots of expensive test. Money is not an issue...I just don't like her going through all the test. What do you think ti could be?

One thing she does not need is more toys!!! We kinda thought it was time for a little sister or brother :) Even though she has been fixed, could she still cry like she hasn't?

Cats quickly realise we don't understand their body language, but that we use sound to communicate instead. They soon learn that being vocal is an effective way of getting our attention. It's always best to rule out medical causes first, so it's worth having the vet check her over just in case she is in any kind of pain.
Siamese cats are recognised as being highly intelligent and vocal, so she may just be a "high maintenence" young lady who demands as much attention as you can give her and more. Sounds like you are already taking good care of her needs, so if you think she is simply crying for extra attention, then ignoring her when she cries for certain things will help break the habit. It may sound mean, but once she realises that crying is no longer the best way of getting your attention, she'll stop.
I don't know if it's an option you are willing to consider, but she might appreciate having a feline companion to play with. Having another cat around will help keep her mentally and physically fit. The web article below offers good step by step advice on how to introduce another cat to her if you decide to try this.

Of course, some cats are just natural chatter-boxes who've always got something to say for themselves. Our female cat barely meows at all, whereas our male cat talks non-stop. The only time he's quiet is when he's sleeping. You might enjoy reading the article below about cat chat as it has lots of interesting information about the different cries they make.

I don't know if this would help, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt. :)
There is an excellent video called Video Catnip. It is a 30 minute show of birds and squirrels and exciting things for cats filmed up close with the sounds and sights which go with that. I have two cats, and whenever I play it, I always find them in front of the tv, twitching their tails and watching it with pleasure.
If your cat needs something fun to occupy or distract her, that will give you some peace and her some enjoyment.
If your cat is just vocal, as some Siamese are, the scenery will give her something to talk about.
If your cat has a hurting stomach or tooth, and the video doesn't make the crying stop, then take her into the vet and let him or her hear your animal. That way you can know if her crying is normal or out of distress.
I was very happy with my purchase of Video Catnip. :)

A cat's meow is just their way of 'talking.' To a human, a cat's cry sounds sad and plaintive, as if something is wrong or they want something. That's not necessarily so -- she is most likely just telling you about her day! Talk back to her, either by meowing to her or speaking in Human.
Siamese cats are notorious for 'talking' a lot. I think your cat is totally normal. Enjoy!

Maybe she needs more toys or a friend to play with! Ever considered another cat?
Give her hugs for me today! :D
Btw, it'd break my heart to see a cat cry. I've never seen that occur before. :-(

i don't think there is anything wrong unless she wants something like milk, or some kind of yummy human treat. also, she could just be talking to you. siamese cats are very vocal. i have two, and they do that a lot as well. she's fine :)
