People always tell a person who wants to consider plastic surgery or feels ugly to "accept how God made you". Unfortunatelly people are treated different based on appearance. Does that mean that God choose whom he wanted to be ugly or are they ugly because of the parent's genes? Does God actually make a baby's body?

genetics has a great PR support but poor truth in advertising

Parents provide a great richness of DNA potential but still it is the arriving entity that joins the fertilized egg to be the container that the DNA potential is forced to fit as a possibility
Humans actually activate approximately three percent of the available DNA the rest is restricted by the membrane around the nucleus from entering the actual cell body as RNA for building blocks of LIfe
and actually both attractive and unattractive and even intelligent and mongoloid people all activate basicly the same percentage
so it seems to depend on the inner image of the spirit joining the DNA offered by the parents rather than any God's will

Scientists these days intrigued by these findings have begun to focus on changing the persons beliefs and views of the self and thus bringing on resulting changes in body electrical chemical neurotransmitter peptides and thus arriving at significant improvements in the physical structures of the body over a period of time
as one scientist recently stated in the deep south at a speaking conference: it does give a totally new understanding of being "Born again" without having to crawl back into the mother's womb
In the next few years we may see a whole new change of direction in Psychology therapy more along the line of what is already emerging on the Islands of Hawaii with the outspoken advocates of traditional Hawaiian tribal intercessions of the medicine man adopting patients instead of medicating them

I don't think God cares whether your ugly or beautiful on the outside. He looks at the heart. We humans care a lot about our looks. I think it is good for our soul to look the best we can. We feel good about ourselves and others treat us like royalty. If you have acne...go to a dermatologist. If your have fangs go to an orthodontics. If you have a super large nose, get it fixed. But remember, too much of a good things can wreck our looks. Look at Michael Jackson. Is he handsome with all the surgery or ugly?

the genes do the most damage, i'd say. but i know woman who were unattractive when they were younger(glasses, nerdy) who are knockouts in they're late 30's. I have also seen girls go from gorgeous in they're teens to omg, what happened.
Things like a good attitude can make all the difference. Sun tan, good hair care, good diet, exercise. Stress is the worst for your looks.
Im 29, I miss my hair.........but a lot of girls dig bald guyz, fortunately.

Everyone of us was made in God's Image... If that's the case, why do we have serial rapists and burglars and murders? Same logic, does that mean God is ugly, or did he decide to take the left over pieces and mash them together. If your a holy roller, then God must be a fat *** with missing teeth, 'cus that describes more then 7/8th of the US alone.

God said we are the Apple of his eye, wonderfully and beautifully made. I believe that God thinks we all a beautiful, it is what we do with What society says to us and about us that makes us believe we are ugly. We put to much emphasis on what the majority says and adapt this as our attitude about ourselves. We need to meditate on what God says about us and who we are and turn a deaf ear to society

NO! uglyness came after Adam SINNED! And no matter who said what,,, God ONLY created two people,, Adam & Eve! Now,, when the HOLY SPIRIT took Jesus and "formed" Him into an embroyo or what,, inside Marys womb,, We were NOT told, and it's not written, so we'd best SHUT UP,,,on that.

God does not make unattractive people, it the way people look at them, all God people or made equal. Don't look at the outside, look deep inside.

"Ugly" is one of the ugliest words I know. We all have our different styles and forms of beauty, and most of us take waaaaaaay too much notice of a person's looks. God made us as He wanted us to be. Some can accept that; others can't. We are ALL beautiful and precious in God's eyes.

Physical attractiveness is mostly culturally defined. Fat women are considered unattractive in our culture, but in other times and places they've been considered the height of feminine beauty.

The following is satire:
No, God made ugly people differently. They don't have souls like we do, but we were blessed and cursed by God by their presence because we look even more dazzling and gorgeous by comparison next to them. Ugly people are soulless, though, and are very prone to being Atheists--which is why you only ever see Atheists on internet forums. They're too hideous to show their faces to us. Some of them are in Church, too, because ugly people have to be there for us to look even better by comparison in Church as well. Image is important everywhere.
